About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aesthetic Therapist to join our team at The Dermatology Partnership. As an integral part of our clinic, you will provide medical aesthetic treatments to clients under the guidance of our Consultant Dermatologists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, including advising on suitable products and treatment packages.
  • Conduct IPL laser hair removal and facial aesthetic treatments such as skin peels and microneedling, exercising extreme caution and working within your training limits.
  • Assist Doctors and Nurses during treatments, maintaining aseptic and sterile techniques as required for each procedure.
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Support patients with aftercare information and instructions as per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
Patient Journey Focus
  • Ensure patient satisfaction by meeting and greeting patients professionally, providing exceptional care throughout their treatment journey.
  • Create a supportive and caring environment, promoting high standards of clinical care to all patients.
  • Verify patient consent for procedures, ensuring each individual understands the risks and benefits associated with their chosen treatment.
Health and Safety
  • Properly dispose of clinical waste according to Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Prepare necessary equipment for procedures, adhering to departmental protocols.
  • Report any clinical incidents or near misses, following Company policies and procedures.
Additional Requirements

You must have a strong background in beauty therapy, with experience in the industry relevant to this role. Possession of NVQ Level 4 or above in Beauty Therapy or equivalent is essential.
