Clinical Psychologist Research Assistant

You are invited to apply for a challenging and rewarding role as a Clinical Psychologist Research Assistant at Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, working closely with Professor Anker Ehlers on clinical trials of psychological treatments for post-traumatic stress disorder and social anxiety disorder.
Role OverviewThis position offers excellent opportunities for career progression and the chance to work with a highly experienced team in the field of clinical psychology. You will be responsible for assisting in the administration of clinical trials, liaising with therapists and referrers, maintaining databases, and collaborating with web developers and users.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in psychology, research experience, and excellent organizational skills. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about pursuing a career in clinical psychology or clinical research.
Responsibilities- Administer clinical trials of internet-delivered psychological treatments for PTSD and social anxiety disorder, ensuring seamless delivery into the NHS.
- Liaise closely with therapists, referrers (clinical services and GPs), and the Clinical Trials Unit to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive databases for treatment studies, monitoring data completeness and integrity.
- Collaborate with web developers and users to ensure optimal functionality of internet therapy programs.
- Assist in creating educational materials (videos and written content) for internet-delivered psychological treatments and training website for therapists.
Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust offers a competitive salary range of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes:
