Job Description

As a Learning Facilitator for Individuals with Autism, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring sessions that cater to the unique learning needs of each individual. You will work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and guidance, and develop personalized learning plans that promote academic and social development.

Responsibilities
  • Tutoring Sessions: Design and deliver one-on-one tutoring sessions, incorporating evidence-based teaching strategies and adaptations to meet individual needs.
  • Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents, carers, and other professionals, ensuring consistency and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification in special education or psychology, such as a degree or diploma.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with autism, with a strong understanding of teaching methodologies and strategies.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
