We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Supportive Learning Facilitator to join our team at a thriving Primary School in Northamptonshire. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and pupils in delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide targeted support to teachers and pupils in the classroom, promoting academic excellence and social development.
  • To develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment.
  • To work closely with pupils who require additional support, using effective strategies to promote their confidence and independence.
  • To assist in planning and implementing interventions to help pupils overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

About the Role:

  • This is a fixed-term position, expected to run until July 2025, with the possibility of extension or permanent appointment.
  • You will be working 20 hours per week, spread across 4 hours per day, during term time only.
  • The estimated salary for this role is £10,909.55 per annum, which includes 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Requirements:

  • You will need to possess a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to work effectively with challenging pupils.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how children learn and adapt your approach to meet individual needs.
  • Familiarity with IT and its educational applications, including record-keeping and data analysis.
