FTH Hire Group is a leading plant and tool hire company in the UK, with a strong presence in the South of England, Wales, and Scotland. We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to contribute to our growth plans and strengthen our market position.

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of customer accounts to drive sales growth and revenue.
  • Identify and secure new customer accounts to meet local market sales targets.
  • Manage key accounts to achieve business growth goals and support the delivery of sales targets.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to maximise business opportunities and promote the company brand.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage and develop a team of sales professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in the hire sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive sales growth and revenue.
