FTH Hire Group is a leading independent plant and tool hire company with a strong presence in the UK, Wales, and Scotland.

We are expanding our business and seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to contribute to our growth plans.

This role offers a unique opportunity to develop and manage a portfolio of customer accounts, identify new business opportunities, and drive sales growth.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales, account management, and business development, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve local market sales revenue goals
  • Managing the growth and development of key customer accounts
  • Researching and developing customer account proposals and agreements
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to maximize business opportunities
  • Providing market intelligence and insights to the regional team and the business
  • Maximizing customer awareness and trading performance through the internal customer management platform
  • Generating sales performance reports to local management

We offer a competitive salary, sales bonus scheme, loyalty bonus scheme, pension, and 29 days holiday, inclusive of Bank Holidays.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 5pm.
