About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK - Basingstoke Base. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and respectful transportation services to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from healthcare facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey
  • Provide exceptional patient care, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions and effective care delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and transportation
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience
  • Enhanced DBS certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
