About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Secure Care UK - Bases. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and respectful transportation to patients, adhering to all relevant protocols and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a culture of inclusivity, respect, and empathy within our organization.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with minimum 12 months driving experience.
  • Maintain Enhanced DBS.
  • Excellent communication skills, including IT ability.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure while delivering genuine care.
  • Demonstrate resilience.
  • Able to work as part of a team effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

Contract and Salary

This contract is paid at a blended rate of £12.37p/h (Day, Night, and Weekend Shifts). Annual Remuneration to start from £26,593.80, based on expected hours. This is to be discussed during the interview process.

(Plus enhanced pay of £1.20 extra per hour for work at a Mental Health 'place of safety' and for bed watch activities, supporting ward staff)
