Salaried General Practitioner Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salaried General Practitioner to join our team at Eve Hill Medical Practice. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our experienced and approachable team, and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations and emergencies, telephone consultations and queries, on-call, triaging, visiting patients at home, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with clinical queries, patient test results, patient medical reports, and examinations on behalf of the Practice.
- Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
- Supervise and support non-medical practitioners, trainee doctors, and medical students.
- Comply with the requirements of the Practice's General Medical Services (GMS) contract, Enhanced Services contracts, educational/training delivery contracts, and private contracts.
- Adhere to the principles of the GMC's Good Medical Practice.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- Registered with the GMC.
- On the GP performers list.
- MB ChB MRCGP or equivalent.
Desirable qualifications and experience include:
- EMIS web trained.
- Experience of managing complex cases.
We offer a supportive and safe environment for all staff, including non-medical staff and trainees. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in practice research and personal development.
