About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at ESS. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of the kitchen and staff in the absence of the Head Chef.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the preparation and presentation of quality food and final products meet the Company Standard.
  • Lead by example and maintain a clean and presentable kitchen environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Head Chef on stock levels and other kitchen-related matters.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for kitchen staff.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling, including lifting and moving stock and equipment.
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
