About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Imaging Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our radiology department, ensuring the smooth operation of our imaging services.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for medical staff and GPs, responding to queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate the exchange of images and patient information between departments and external organizations.
- Monitor and process unverified lists, ensuring accurate and efficient communication.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
- Provide administrative support to the department, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of IT systems and software, including the Radiology Information System.
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a radiology department.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
