We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our multi-disciplinary team as a Band 5 healthcare professional. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced team members to provide high-quality patient care.

The role will involve working in a fast-paced theatre environment, with a range of specialities including Limb reconstruction, Thoracic, Trauma Orthopaedics, max fax, Upper GI, Lower GI, Gynae, HPB, and a designated CEPOD list.

The ideal candidate will have skills or knowledge in all areas of theatres, including scrub, recovery, and anaesthetics. Relevant training will be provided, and eagerness to learn is essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to work a range of shifts, including nights and weekends, and will be required to develop measurable patient care plans/goals in partnership with other professionals and disciplines.

The role also involves taking charge of the clinical needs of a group of defined patients on the ward/department, prioritising workload according to changing clinical need over a 24 period.

Key responsibilities include delegating tasks and activities to a range of team members, ensuring nursing documentation is maintained, accurate, and timely, and promoting a safe environment for patients.
