Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced clinician to lead our CAMHS Intensive Outreach Team on a fixed-term basis. The successful candidate will work closely with our Clinical Service Manager, Clinical Lead, and OTR Team Manager to manage a service supporting young people in mental health crisis and at risk of Tier 4 admission.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Service Manager, lead and manage an Intensive Outreach Team providing care to young people at risk of/stepping down from Tier 4 admission.
- Work with the Clinical Service Manager, Senior Practitioners, and medical consultant to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions leading to positive outcomes for service users and carers.
- Develop an evidence-based Intensive Outreach model of service using DBT/Systemic approach.
- Manage the performance of designated care clinicians within the team, ensuring consistent clinical and quality standards are maintained.
- Establish close working relationships and protocols with internal and external services, promoting effective liaison and collaboration.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and management skills, with a strong understanding of CAMHS services and the ability to develop and implement effective interventions. A DBT/Systemic approach and experience working with young people in mental health crisis are essential.
