Job Title: Manager, HR & Learning Business Partner

About the Role

The Manager, HR & Learning Business Partner will contribute to the success of stakeholders and the European Human Resources Function by recommending and implementing client-specific HR solutions. This role will partner with HRBPs locally and globally to ensure HR programmes and policies are aligned with business strategies and are successfully implemented, while ensuring compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business groups, under the guidance of the Senior Manager, HRBP.
  • Partner with GBM HR, Enterprise HR, and other key internal partners to leverage knowledge and best practices to provide guidance and counsel to leaders.
  • Support the growth and maintenance of a skilled and motivated workforce capable of delivering business strategy.
  • Provide trusted advice and guidance on sensitive issues, including total rewards, performance management, talent, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, change management, and employee engagement.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Requirements

  • Substantial, relevant HR experience (preferably in the financial services or banking industry) working within a globally matrixed structure.
  • Good understanding of assigned stakeholder groups from a business and organisational perspective, including matrix relationships and geographies.
  • Good business acumen to align business objectives and HR strategies with corporate goals to maximise shareholder value.
  • Strong relationship building, influencing, and customer service skills to build effective partnerships and work with all levels of management.
  • Confident facilitator – able to present/deliver learning content.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills and proven ability to successfully deliver/initiate/executive initiatives, processes, and policies.
  • Proficient computing skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
