We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Lecturer in English Literature to join our team at the University of Exeter. The successful candidate will have a PhD in English Literary Studies, pre-1750, and possess sufficient breadth or depth of specialist and core knowledge to develop teaching programmes and teach and support learning.

The role will involve designing, developing, and producing teaching and learning materials, delivering lectures, leading seminars, convening modules, setting and marking assignments, and providing academic support through our personal tutoring system. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in and develop external networks, contribute to student recruitment, secure student placements, facilitate outreach work, generate income, and build relationships for future activities.
