Seeking an Academic Leader to spearhead the development of our new Online Health Data Science MSc programme.

Salary

The starting salary for this Lecturer or Senior Lecturer role will be from £42,632 on Grade F or £50,694 on Grade G, depending on qualifications and experience. A generous holiday allowance, flexible working, pension scheme, and relocation package (if applicable) are also offered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and produce high-quality teaching materials for our new MSc programme.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure excellent education for our students, teaching in various settings, including online.
  • Possess sufficient breadth or depth of specialist knowledge in Health Data Science to develop teaching programmes, teach, and support learning.
  • Participate in external networks to contribute to student recruitment, secure placements, facilitate outreach work, generate income, and build relationships.
  • Evidence of excellent teaching through peer review and impact at discipline programme level.
  • A consistent track record of engaging with undergraduate and/or postgraduate students within your specialist area.
