High Voltage Transmission Technician Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled High Voltage Transmission Technician to join our team in Inverness, Scotland. The successful candidate will support inspection and maintenance operations across the north of Scotland.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have OHL qualification and proven experience working at height on the electricity network.
  • A recognised overhead line training provider qualification or equivalent experience is also desirable.
  • Familiarity with current business operations, electrical systems, and their geography would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out essential tasks on 132, 275 & 400kV Transmission overhead line networks.
  2. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, responding to emergency situations when required.
  3. Travel requirements may involve working away from base location during the week and occasionally at weekends.

Estimated Salary:

We estimate the annual salary for this role to be £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.
