About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Management Officer to join our team at Capita. As a key member of our Energy Management Team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality and comprehensive BMS service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose heating problems using the BEMS and rectify any faults.
  • Evaluate energy-saving initiatives and develop strategies to reduce energy consumption.
  • Investigate high energy consumption and identify areas of excessive wastage.
  • Promote the Energy Management Team and its services to clients and other organizations.
  • Assist the Energy Team Leader and colleagues in developing improved working methods and effective working relationships with other departments.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid UK driving license.
  • HNC/HND in Electrical engineering or equivalent/similar.
  • Experience of Trend and preferably some knowledge of other BEMS manufacturers.
  • Working knowledge of System Link software.
  • Ability to work on own initiative or within a team to tight timescales.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience of working in or directly with schools.
