About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Lakeside View, a 30-bedded hospital in Willenhall. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with significant mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop person-centred treatment plans
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to provide a range of interventions, including psychiatric and cognitive behavioural perspectives, occupational therapy, and psychology
  • Collaborate with external professionals and service users to ensure clear communication throughout the care pathway
  • Maximise recovery by offering a wide range of therapeutic approaches and interventions
Requirements
  • Experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties
  • CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry
  • Registration with the GMC, including being on the special register for Psychiatry

We work closely with NHS partners to ensure patients safely transition from our Acute Services back into the community.
