About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Group. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and leading our multidisciplinary team in delivering excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide expert advice to colleagues and other healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective discharge planning
  • Provide training and supervision to junior staff members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures

Requirements

  • CCST/CCT or equivalent in Psychiatry
  • Registration with the GMC, including being on the special register for Psychiatry
  • Experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties
  • Ability to conduct training and provide supervision to junior staff members
