About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Group. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and leading our multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication
  • Conduct thorough assessments and provide expert advice on patient care and treatment
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care and professional development
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary range between £150,000-£165,000 dependent on experience
  • Full-time dedicated Speciality Doctor support and on-site RMO cover evenings and weekends

Requirements

  • Experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties
  • Essential qualifications include a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry and registration with the GMC including being on the special register for Psychiatry
