About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Healthcare. As a key member of our Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement person-centred treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment decisions and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of service policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry.
  • Registration with the GMC, including being on the special register for Psychiatry.
  • Experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health difficulties.
  • Ability to conduct training and education sessions for other healthcare professionals.
