Job Title: Registered General Nurse

Service Care Solutions - Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered General Nurse to join our team at one of our Independent Hospitals in Abingdon.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support our residents with physical disability and/or long-term neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long-term service users, prioritizing their health and well-being.
  • Behave in a professional and discreet manner at all times, adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
  • Manage people with long-term health conditions, providing effective care and support.
  • Proactively identify, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for service users with complex needs.
  • Prioritize health problems and intervene appropriately to assist service users in complex, urgent, or emergency situations.
  • Recognize and work within your competence level, seeking support when needed.
  • Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation.
  • Support, manage, and guide support workers on a daily basis.
  • Continually develop yourself and the role, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid NMC Pin.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota pattern.
  • Right to work in the UK.
