Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at John Masefield House in Oxford. As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents with physical disability and/or long-term neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, and long-term service users, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.
- Behave in a professional and discreet manner, adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code.
- Be competent and confident in managing people with long-term health conditions, prioritizing their health problems and intervening appropriately.
- Proactively identify, diagnose, and manage treatment plans for service users, recognizing and working within your own competence level.
- Produce accurate, contemporaneous, and complete records of service user interaction and consultation, consistent with legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Support, manage, and guide support workers on a daily basis, promoting a positive and inclusive team environment.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid NMC Pin and be registered with the NMC.
- Have the right to work in the UK and be able to provide evidence of this.
- Be able to work on shift/rota patterns, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
