Job Title: Registered General Nurse

Service Care Solutions is seeking a skilled Registered General Nurse to join our team at one of our Independent Hospitals in Abingdon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Administer nursing care to patients with various health conditions, prioritizing their needs and providing effective emergency care when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a professional and discreet demeanor at all times.
  • Produce accurate and contemporaneous records of patient interaction and consultation, adhering to legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Valid NMC Pin and a real passion for caring and helping people.
  • Ability to work on shift/rota patterns, including 12-hour shifts, day shifts, night shifts, overtime, and weekend availability.
  • Experience working with adults with physical disability and/or long-term neurological conditions, including cerebral palsy, epilepsy, brain injury, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, speech impairment, spina bifida, hydrocephalus, or stroke.

Our client is a specialist nursing home providing care and support to adults with complex needs. They require assistance with meals, drinks, and general nutrition, and some residents have communication challenges or cannot communicate verbally.
