Independents Sales Lead

Job Summary:
The Advocate Group is seeking an experienced Channel Manager to lead the Independents customer channel and manage a team of field-based Account Managers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a sales strategy for the Independents Channel, managing a team of Account Managers, and overseeing commercial terms and business relationships with core accounts.
About the Role:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy for the Independents Channel, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
- Lead and manage a team of Account Managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet their personal targets and customer plans.
- Collaborate with the Head of Wholesale to ensure alignment and effective communication across the channel.
- Manage the overall financials of the Independent ledger, focusing on maintaining and improving margin.
- Act as an ambassador for Union, championing and representing their values in the trade.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an OOH environment in an account management capacity.
- Previous experience in people management and mentorship.
- Track record of sales success, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Adaptable and experienced self-starter with drive and commitment.
