Job Summary:

The Advocate Group is seeking an experienced Channel Manager to lead the Independents customer channel and manage a team of field-based Account Managers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a sales strategy for the Independents Channel, managing a team of Account Managers, and overseeing commercial terms and business relationships with core accounts.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the Independents Channel, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of Account Managers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet their personal targets and customer plans.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Wholesale to ensure alignment and effective communication across the channel.
  • Manage the overall financials of the Independent ledger, focusing on maintaining and improving margin.
  • Act as an ambassador for Union, championing and representing their values in the trade.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an OOH environment in an account management capacity.
  • Previous experience in people management and mentorship.
  • Track record of sales success, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and experienced self-starter with drive and commitment.
