Position Overview:
The OpenHire Support Test Company is dedicated to fostering strong connections with Aboriginal communities. We are currently seeking a full-time Aboriginal Community Liaison to enhance our collaborative efforts and strengthen our networks.

Key Responsibilities:
Your role will involve acting as a bridge between our scientific teams and Aboriginal communities. You will play a crucial part in delivering innovative scientific solutions in the realms of Environment and Forestry, along with other relevant program areas.

Travel Requirements:
This position necessitates travel within Saskatchewan.

Main Focus:
Your primary objective will be to engage with Aboriginal communities to ensure the effective execution of Project CLEANS, which involves the remediation of 38 abandoned sites in the Athabasca Basin. Additionally, you will participate in business development and community engagement for other environmental restoration initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Science, Commerce, or Business Administration, or have equivalent experience, alongside a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working with Saskatchewan Aboriginal communities.

Required Skills:
Your strong communication, networking, and interpersonal abilities will enable you to excel in a collaborative environment. A comprehensive understanding of Aboriginal organizations, institutions, and socio-political issues, particularly in northern Saskatchewan, is essential. You should also be adept at integrating scientific knowledge with traditional practices to enhance program delivery.
