Job Overview

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accommodation Co-ordinator to join our team at BSC Education Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all accommodation aspects for adult colleges, ensuring suitable provisions are made, and maintaining a great working relationship with accommodation providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Homestay Management: Ensure homestay providers are informed of all homestay enquiries and bookings, and notify admissions coordinators of homestay details being confirmed in a timely manner.
  • Accommodation Requests: Be the point of contact for admissions and sales teams regarding any accommodation requests.
  • Room Management: Have an overview of all nominated rooms and inform the Admissions and Accommodation Manager of any voids in advance, allowing for a plan to be formulated to fill them and maximize revenue.
  • Ad Hoc Options: Source ad hoc residential options when allocated rooms are full.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with providers and college teams to ensure complaints are limited and the quality of accommodation provided to students is the best in the industry.
  • Liaison and Support: Liaise with admissions for any pre-arrival issues or changes, and support colleges with any post-arrival issues.
  • Issue Resolution: Deal effectively with arising challenges, resolving complaints, and escalating issues to the Admissions and Accommodation Manager.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years' experience in accommodation and/or hospitality.
  • IT Skills: IT proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
Desirable Skills
  • Education Sector Experience: Previous experience in the education sector would be advantageous.
