At Randstad Care, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children in Need Social Worker to provide support, manage risk, and ensure the safety and well-being of children in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines and safeguarding procedures.
  • Manage a caseload of children in need, prioritizing their needs and providing timely interventions.
  • Develop and implement care plans and interventions that address the complex needs of children and families.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England (SWE).
  • Proven experience working with children and families, ideally within a Children in Need context.
  • Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and with external agencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
