About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Epsom Community Mental Health Recovery Service.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to work with adults who require mental health support. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and promoting recovery.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and demonstrate a commitment to providing evidence-based treatment interventions. You will also possess strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues, service users, and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess new referrals and develop individualized care plans in conjunction with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver low-level psychological interventions, focusing on empowerment, education, and skill development.
  • Liaise closely with other services and agencies to ensure comprehensive care coordination under the Care Programme Approach.

You will need to administer medication safely in a community setting, engage in medicines management, and monitor physical health.

Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse - RMN/RN (Mental Health)
  • Experience working with adults with mental health problems (including training) or additional relevant post-registration training.
  • Able to carry out supervision and provide educational input to junior colleagues.

This is a permanent full-time position, offering a competitive salary of £39,205-£47,084 per annum, inclusive of 5% fringe HCAS, pro rata. The ideal candidate will have a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
