Culinary Operations Manager

Holt Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Salisbury. This role offers a unique twist on the traditional Sous Chef position, working within a manufacturing business's stylish on-site restaurant serving staff and visitors complimentary breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea.
The kitchen serves homemade dishes, including baked goods, soups, hummus, deli counter dishes, etc. We are looking for someone with a creative flair to assist with the creation of the weekly menus.
This is a permanent role offering an immediate start and a salary of £25-26,000 per annum, working hours are Monday to Friday 7am-3pm.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily preparation of foods for each service
- Baking
- Efficient and timely washing up to accommodate company break times and schedules
- To adhere and comply with company, Food hygiene, and H&S regulations
- Assist the catering manager with stock takes and management as well as overseeing their duties in their absence
- Deliver and maintain the highest level of customer service
- Menu writing
- Previous experience is essential
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Good knowledge of current legislation for Food Hygiene, H&S, and Allergen awareness
- Flexible and motivated
