Learning Support Assistant for Phonics Intervention

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled SEN teaching assistant to support students with autism in an inclusive primary school setting.
About the Role:- Deliver evidence-based phonics interventions to students with autism, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
- Support students with additional needs, ensuring their inclusion and engagement in the classroom.
- Teach phonics skills to students with autism using effective methods and adapting to individual learning styles.
- Assist the teacher in planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, reporting on achievements and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment.
- Degree in Education, Special Educational Needs, or related field.
- Experience working with students with autism and/or special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
□ £80-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
