Learning Support Assistant

About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and versatile Teaching Support Professional to provide supply and day-to-day cover in various primary school settings in the London Borough of Islington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in the classroom, helping to deliver engaging lessons.
- Work 1:1 or with small groups to support children's learning and development.
- Assist in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they can access the curriculum and make progress.
- Adapt to the varying needs of different schools and year groups.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a classroom setting is preferred.
- Ability to support children with special needs, including those with Autism, ADHD, or learning difficulties.
- A versatile, adaptable approach to working in different school environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
