Front Office Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Front Office team at KE Hotels (Newcastle). As a Front Office Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and lobby area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Manage cash and credit transactions, maintaining accurate records and adhering to company policies.
  • Support the Front Office Manager and Rooms Division Manager in maintaining service standards and ensuring the safety and security of guests and hotel property.
  • Perform other duties as required, including assisting with emergency situations and coordinating with other departments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Experience working in a customer-facing environment, preferably in a hospitality setting
  • Computer proficiency, including Opera PMS
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
