Job Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Front Office Team as a Front Office Team Member. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Check guests in and out, using our computerized system to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
  • Familiarize yourself with our hotel's check-in and check-out procedures, as well as our reception computer system.
  • Issue keys to guests and provide clear directions to their accommodation, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
  • Keep accurate records of guest arrivals and departures, ensuring that necessary information is communicated to relevant departments.
  • Provide guests with information about local attractions and services, such as ordering newspapers or taxis, and storing valuables.
  • Ensure that guests receive their messages and mail without delay, and direct incoming calls and assist with external calls.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare customers' accounts upon departure, including additional items such as drinks, telephone calls, and newspapers.
  • Take payment from customers in cash or by credit/debit card, ensuring accurate and secure processing.
  • Respond to guest queries and complaints, using your excellent communication skills to resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Have a good knowledge of our hotel's charge rates and facilities, ensuring that you can provide accurate information to guests.
  • Ensure that all guest registration forms are completed in full, and that guest security and hotel security are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure that all monies are accounted for and available for collection and inspection, and that you are accountable for all money at reception while on duty.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to cover business needs, including working varied shifts and hours.
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude, with a strong sense of ethics and responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, with good listening and presentation skills, and the ability to anticipate and respond to guests' needs.
  • Dynamic and sales-oriented, with the ability to cope well under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
