About the Role:

  • Position: Full Time KS2 Intervention Teacher
  • Location: Birmingham

Key Responsibilities of the KS2 Intervention Teacher:

  1. Working closely with KS2 pupils who need extra support in literacy and numeracy, planning and delivering targeted intervention sessions tailored to individual needs.
  2. Using assessment data and teacher input to identify KS2 students requiring additional intervention and tracking their progress to ensure consistent growth.
  3. Collaborating with KS2 class teachers to ensure intervention strategies align with the broader curriculum and classroom goals.
  4. Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that helps KS2 children build confidence and achieve academic growth through intervention.
  5. Communicating with parents and carers to keep them informed about their KS2 child's progress and providing strategies for additional support at home.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year
