KS2 Support Teacher Role in Birmingham

About the Role:

  • Position: Full-time KS2 Support Teacher
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have experience working with KS2 pupils who need extra support in literacy and numeracy. They will be able to deliver targeted intervention sessions tailored to individual needs and work closely with KS2 class teachers to ensure intervention strategies align with the broader curriculum and classroom goals.

Requirements:

  • A qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2 and a proven track record of supporting students' progress through intervention.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate KS2 pupils who require additional support.
  • Familiarity with intervention strategies and the ability to adapt teaching methods based on students' needs.
  • A proactive flexible approach with a passion for helping children overcome challenges and succeed.
