About the Role:

  • Position: Full-Time KS2 Intervention Teacher
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities of the KS2 Intervention Teacher:

  • Working closely with KS2 pupils who need extra support in literacy and numeracy, planning and delivering targeted intervention sessions tailored to individual needs.
  • Using assessment data and teacher input to identify KS2 students requiring additional intervention and tracking their progress to ensure consistent growth.
  • Collaborating with KS2 class teachers to ensure intervention strategies align with the broader curriculum and classroom goals.
  • Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that helps KS2 children build confidence and achieve academic growth through intervention.
  • Communicating with parents and carers to keep them informed about their KS2 child's progress and providing strategies for additional support at home.
