We are seeking a skilled KS2 Intervention Teacher to join our team at a well-established primary school in Birmingham. As a dedicated educator, you will play a vital role in supporting students who need additional help to reach their academic potential through targeted intervention sessions.

The school is committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their best. Our KS2 Intervention Teacher will work closely with pupils who need extra support in literacy and numeracy, planning and delivering tailored intervention sessions.

About the Role:

  • Position: Full Time KS2 Intervention Teacher

Key Responsibilities of the KS2 Intervention Teacher:

  1. Delivering targeted intervention sessions to support KS2 pupils who need extra help in literacy and numeracy.
  2. Collaborating with KS2 class teachers to ensure intervention strategies align with the broader curriculum and classroom goals.
  3. Tracking the progress of KS2 students who require additional intervention and identifying areas for improvement.
  4. Creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that helps KS2 children build confidence and achieve academic growth through intervention.
  5. Communicating with parents and carers to keep them informed about their KS2 child's progress and providing strategies for additional support at home.

Competitive Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year
