Job Description

As a Technology Leadership Position in our Materials Technology Centre, you will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled professionals in the fields of metallurgy, non-metallics, and welding engineering.

Your primary focus will be on driving business growth and improving materials capabilities through effective collaboration with stakeholders, including Rolls Royce, departmental managers, and the Ministry Of Defence.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science/Materials Engineering or Welding, and experience in research and development projects, as well as project management. A good understanding of UKAS laboratory environments and Chartership or evidence of working towards is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of highly skilled professionals in metallurgy, non-metallics, and welding engineering
  • Drive business growth and improve materials capabilities through effective collaboration with stakeholders

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You'll also receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance, and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
