Austin Fraser is seeking an experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school team in Sevenoaks.
About the RoleThis SEN Teaching Assistant position involves supporting the class Teacher in assessing and documenting children's progress, fostering a learning environment where every child can reach their full potential. You will work alongside the Teacher and other Teaching Assistants to implement personalized provision plans, providing support to children on a 1:1 or group basis.
Key Responsibilities- Support the class Teacher in creating a tailored learning experience for each child.
- Foster a safe and positive classroom setting and create learning resources based on individual needs and interests.
- Experience working with SEN children or young people, ideally in an education setting.
- An enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply.
The salary for this position is estimated at £80-£110 per day, paid weekly via the PAYE system. A minimum of relevant experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults is required.
