We are seeking an experienced Account Development Manager to join our team at Macfarlane Packaging. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales plans for allocated territories, expanding the customer base through proactive new business generation, and maintaining exceptional standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, agree upon, and implement sales plans for allocated territories
  • Proactively expand the customer base by identifying and targeting new prospect accounts
  • Maintain exceptional standards of customer service, with responsibility for management of all customers allocated to the sales territory

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months experience in field-based selling, encompassing both existing account management and proactive new business sales within a full sales cycle role. They will also possess strong sales closing skills, excellent presentation skills, and commercial acumen.

Benefits include a competitive basic starting salary of up to £40,000, plus bonus/commission (scope to earn 100% of salary), company car or cash allowance, and flexible employee benefits package including hybrid working and extensive range of training/development opportunities.
