Lead Assistant Technical Officer – Stores and Distribution Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team as a Band 4 Lead ATO, supervising the fundamental day-to-day activities within the team. We are looking for a motivated individual who has previous experience within a stores/warehouse environment and is enthusiastic to help develop this role.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate various functions of the Stores and Distribution team, develop efficient ways of working, and work closely alongside other stakeholders within the pharmacy directorate.
- Deputise for the Lead Technician when required.
- Lead and actively participate in departmental team briefs.
- Become a line manager, plan and organise appraisals, produce personal development plans, and follow sickness management processes.
- Work together with other band 4 ATOs to support the Lead Pharmacy Technician – Stores and Distribution in the day-to-day operational management of the stores/distribution service.

Requirements- Substantial stock control experience.
- IT skills with experience of using computer systems and applications.
- Experience of leading and supervising other members of a team.
- Experience of investigating queries and customer complaints.
- Experience of multidisciplinary and/or collaborative working.
- Experience of working with a stock control computer system.
- Implementation of improvements within a team or department.
