Lead Assistant Technical Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Assistant Technical Officer to join our Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating various functions, developing efficient workflows, and working closely with stakeholders within the pharmacy directorate.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Stores and Distribution team.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Work closely with other stakeholders to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Lead and participate in departmental team briefs to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Significant recent experience of working within a stores or warehousing environment.
- Stock control experience and knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Supervising and training staff, with a focus on developing their skills and knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to implement improvements within a team or department, with a focus on process efficiency and effectiveness.
