Job Title: Child and Family Practitioner

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our team at St Heliers Medical Practice. As a Child and Family Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing a caseload and dealing with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting
  • Ensure the highest standards of care for all patients
  • Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems
  • Assess the healthcare needs of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems
  • Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
  • Develop care plans for health in consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management protocols
  • Provide counselling and health education
  • Collect data for audit purposes
  • Compile and issue computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions
Requirements:
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic General Practitioner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current practice disease management protocols
