We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at one of our care homes. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
  2. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  3. Work closely with colleagues to deliver person-centred care, responding to individual needs and preferences.
  4. Maintain accurate records of resident care and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Experience of caring for older people, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a patient and empathetic approach.
