Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Chartered Physiotherapist to join our Therapies team at Velindre University NHS Trust. As a Chartered Physiotherapist - Cancer Care, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with cancer and palliative care needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide specialized assessment and rehabilitation interventions to enable patients to manage the physical effects of cancer and its treatment.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Requirements
  • Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Registration with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
  • Evidence of recent study or ongoing professional development.
  • Experience working in oncology and palliative care environments.
