Physiotherapist Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our forward-thinking Physiotherapy team in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will be working closely with the stroke rehabilitation team and providing high-quality physiotherapy to patients following admission with stroke.

The ideal candidate will have post-registration experience in stroke rehabilitation, ideally in a senior role, with appropriate knowledge and skills. You will work flexibly to support the 7-day acute stroke service and supervise other registered physiotherapy staff on rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing specialist physiotherapy input to patients following stroke admission
  • Working closely with the stroke rehabilitation team to provide high-quality care
  • Supervising and supporting other registered physiotherapy staff
Requirements
  • Post-registration experience in stroke rehabilitation
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £37,898 - £45,637 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to regular In-Service Training and opportunities for CPD.
