We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Team Leader to join our team at the Cardiff and Vale University Health Board.

In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for leading the physiotherapy team in delivering high-quality care to patients in community settings. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient-centered rehabilitation plans and provide leadership and guidance to the team.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead the physiotherapy team in delivering high-quality care to patients in community settings
  • Develop and implement patient-centered rehabilitation plans
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate hospital discharge and prevent admission

The ideal candidate will have significant post-registration experience in the specialist area, with a strong background in physiotherapy and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care. A recognized qualification degree or equivalent in physiotherapy, as well as membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), is essential.

Requirements:
  • Recognized qualification degree or equivalent in physiotherapy
  • Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Significant post-registration experience in the specialist area
  • Broad experience across physiotherapy
  • Experience as working as part of an MDT
