Job Description

Concept Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled SC Cleared IT Support Specialist to provide expert hardware and software support to our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions to meet the needs of our diverse client base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hardware Support: Replace desktops, laptops, monitors, and phones as required, ensuring a swift resolution to customer issues.
  • Break Fix: Perform troubleshooting and repair of desktop equipment to minimize downtime.
  • IMAC Activities: Implement, move, add, and change hardware and software configurations to support customer needs.
  • Daily Backup Checks: Conduct regular backup checks to ensure data integrity and security.
  • Customer Communication: Maintain regular contact with Workflow Managers and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Problem-Solving: Provide quality solutions to complex technical issues, escalating as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant procedures and policies to maintain security and compliance standards.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to company health and safety policies.
Requirements
  • Security Clearance: Hold current and valid SC level clearance.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess knowledge of Server OS and navigation, with experience in Active Directory and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Hardware Skills: Familiarity with laptop keyboards, memory, hard drives, and network printer installs and configuration.
  • Software Skills: Experience with Microsoft applications and VPN remote work on machines.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair desktops and laptops.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications
  • IT Engineering Experience: Proven experience in IT engineering, with a good understanding of analytical troubleshooting and network configurations.
  • Desktop and Laptop Accreditation: Desktop and laptop accreditation, with knowledge of specific customer software.
  • Full UK Driving Licence: Possess a full UK driving licence.
